Maryland Stump Removal will use a tiered pricing system based on stump diameter, root complexity, and cleanup services. This ensures fair pricing for customers. All jobs require an on-site final quote before work can begin. 

Base Pricing: grinding stumps to 6-8" below the surface of the ground is the base pricing.  Prices will increase if more depth is required. Removing 100% of a stump will be specialized pricing. 

Minimum job quotes $75 -125.00 

(which will typically cover a stump of 12" or less measured at ground level diameter,

distance and ease of path to stump.}

- Small stump (up to 12" diameter): $75

- Medium stump (13"–24"): $100-200

- Large stump (25"–36"): $200-300

- Extra-large stump (over 36"): $300+

Additional Factors

- Roots: Surface roots extending into the yard will add $25–$75, depending on spread.

- Accessibility: If equipment cannot easily reach the stump (fenced yard, slope, obstacles), add $50–$100 for extra labor.

- Chip Removal: Standard grinding leaves behind standard wood chips. Customers can choose:  • Chips left on site: No extra cost 

-Chips hauled away: $75–$150 depending on volume

-Chips repurposed: as mulch in their yard: $25–$50 (labor for spreading)

-Hardwoods may increase pricing, this is why a site visit is necessary.
